The design manufacturer from Mannheim is expanding its range of gold tones with the trendy “gold matte“ finish. Right from the first presentation, the new finish becomes an appealing design element and significantly defines the new look of the exclusive “Valencia“ series.
Bathroom fittings in warm metal shades are deemed an important trend in 2021. In addition to bronze and copper, gold with a brushed or matte finish has been decisive here. Design manufactory Jörger from Mannheim accommodates this development by introducing a new “Gold matte (.021)” finishing.
Surface finishing by gilding – since gold makes for a very special finish
Mostly used in jewellery production, gold is a precious metal that is popular world-wide. Gold-plated surfaces offer a very refined look. No matter if glossy or matte, gold always provides a special finish.
Bathroom fitting manufacturer Jörger uses only real, pure gold for galvanic surface finishing.
“Gold matte (.021)” as the new galvanic surface in the Jörger range
Bathroom fittings designed in matte gold appear warmer and less strict. More than glossy gold, they make surfaces look refined and modern at the same time.
Jörger’s “Gold matte (.021)” is a galvanically produced finish with 23-carat gold-plating on a nickel base layer. The alloy components harden the surface beyond the level of fine gold and add a yellow tint. “Gold matte” is hand-brushed before galvanisation with gold in order to give the surface its precious matte shade. Matte gold is a “living” surface.
Jörger’s offering of gilded surfaces now comprises seven different colour options
After addition of the warm “gold matte (.021)” shade, Jörger is now offering a total of seven different galvanically gold-plated surfaces with gold shares that vary from 18 to 24 carat based on finish. Jörger’s “gold” finish with 24-carat gold-plating is the most luxurious one among them.

Jörger’s new “matte gold” finish is celebrating its premiere with “Valencia”
Design manufactory Jörger effectively introduces its warm metal shade as an essential design element. The “Valencia” collection with its new metal handles is available entirely monochrome in the new matte gold finish for the first time. With a much more modern look than glossy gold, the matte finish combines with the handles to spread an air of masculine sensuality.
